Foster-Miller’s ECAD decontamination and remediation system disperses fine, electrically charged droplets of decontaminant, disinfectant, or cleaner into the air. The like charge on each droplet causes individual droplets to repel each other, facilitating widespread spray dispersion. The charged droplets are attracted to all surfaces in a room, as well as contaminants in the air, thus sanitizing even the most difficult to reach areas. The easily carried, self-contained ECAD decontamination and remediation system includes a hand-held spray dispenser with fluid reservoir, compressor, pressure regulator and all supporting equipment mounted on a two-wheel dolly. This system uses normal 110V electrical power to operate, making it easy to clean or disinfect large areas or multiple rooms. The wand-mounted power switch and trigger provide full system control at the users fingertips. Our ECAD decontamination and remediation system was originally developed for the military for use in chemical decontamination. It has been commercialized in a number of configurations for use with decontaminants, disinfectants, and cleaning agents. The ECAD system has been proven effective in a wide variety of applications including interiors of transit cars, buses, and commercial aircraft; hospital rooms, large facility kitchens, and restrooms.
